Resource request review criteria
Resource requests will be evaluated primarily on the basis of scientific quality. Additional considerations will include integration of the proposed project in the larger clinical and translational research enterprise; investigator’s tenure at VCU; likelihood of external funding; and previous and current support. Preference will be given to novel, multidisciplinary projects that have the potential for significant advancement in clinical care. In addition, preferential consideration will be given to junior/new investigators with proposals that have a high likelihood of leading to external funding.
