April 2007 – The Research Incubator opens in the VMI Building, 1000 E. Marshall St., Suite 324, at the VCU Medical Center. Researchers are invited to submit requests for assistance with clinical research proposals.
January 2007 – John N. Clore, M.D., is appointed Director of VCU’s Center for Clinical and Translational Research and Associate Vice President for Clinical Research. Clore will lead the development and October 2007 submission of the NIH proposal for a Clinical and Translational Science Award.
